About the FAQ
You can find the answer below
Q1: Why is the image of my rear camera mirrored from left to right?
A1:
Please go to Settings to enable or disable the option of Reverse Rearview to adjust the image.
The screen will display the original image if this option is enabled. As a result, the oncoming cars on the left and right sides of the rear will appear reversed on the screen. The default setting is recommended for driving safety.
Q2: Why is the rear camera upside down?
A2:
Please verify that the rear camera is installed in the correct direction.
Please contact us if the rear camera cannot be installed in the correct orientation because of the vehicle structure. We will provide software to turn the image of the rear camera upside down if necessary.
Q3: Why doesn't my rear camera work?
A3:
Solution 1: Power off the camera, reconnect the AV Out connector of the rear camera kit to the dash camera and make sure it is inserted in place.
Solution 2: Power on the camera and go to Settings of the dash camera to perform a factory reset.
Solution 3: Please check if the 4-pin connector of the rear camera kit is loose. If yes, please reconnect it.
Q4: Should the red trigger wire of the rear camera kit be connected to anything?
A4:
If you already have reverse assist on your vehicle and don't need the mirror dash camera to provide this function, the red trigger wire doesn't need to be connected to anything. The rear camera can also be used normally.
Q5: Why is the image view from the rear camera blurry?
A5:
1. Please check that the protective film has been torn off the rear camera lens.
2. The rear windshield may obscure the image if you have a rear camera installed in your vehicle. You can choose to install it outside the vehicle over the license plate.
